Our Program Goals:

Our preschool program supports the early preparation and enhancement of emotional, social, physical, and intellectual development that is necessary for future success and happiness in school and later in life.

Emotional:  We provide a safe, nurturing environment that encourages creative expression and exploration through hands on experiences.  We strive to provide a well-rounded program which encourages self-confidence and responsibility.

Social:  With our learning-center based program, children learn cooperation and creativity.  Centers include art, music, computers, writing, and story time.

Physical:  Large and small motor skills are developed through indoor and outdoor activities.  These activities are geared toward appropriate age levels.

Educational:  Our educational goals and practices have been designed with the recognition that a child's future success in life is influenced to a very large degree by early childhood experiences.

What is a Co-op Preschool?

As part of a cooperative preschool you are required to:

  • Work approximately 9-10 days a year in the classroom assisting the teacher as needed

  • Attend the field trips

  • Attend the mandatory parent meeting at the beginning of the school year

  • Participate in at least one cleaning night (approximately one hour cleaning the toys and furniture)

We also offer an opt-out option for parents who work or are not able to volunteer in the classroom.  Opt-out families are required to:

  • Pay an increased tuition rate (No required working days in the classroom)

  • Attend the field trips

  • Attend the mandatory parent meeting at the beginning of the school year

  • Participate in at least one cleaning night (approximately on hour cleaning the toys and furniture)
